Alexandra Sports are the proud Sponsors of Swan Centre Netball Club.
The Club was founded in 1982 by Gwen Silvester. Gwen wanted to start a Club for Mums with young families who wanted to play netball, so she went door knocking in Boyatt Wood, Eastleigh and formed a Netball Club based at Crestwood School.
Thanks to sponsorship from one of the families involved, the Club evolved into Sigma Netball Club and in 1990 set up a partnership with Swan Shopping Centre which was re-established 3 years ago with John Berry.
From these humble beginnings the Club has now grown considerably and at the present time they have 6 Senior Teams and 4 Junior Teams all playing in the Southampton League.
This year Swan netball club have the following Junior teams playing in the Southampton Netball Association league:
1 Under 11 Team
1 Under 12 Team
2 Under 15 Teams
