The first Shock Absorber bra was developed in 1994 after Edinburgh University carried out research on negative effects of exercise on women’s bodies. In 2005 University of Portsmouth were the first to investigate 3D breast movement during exercise, at varying speed with women up to a G cup. Results show that a Shock Absorber sports bra can reduce bounce by twice as much as a normal bra.
