In 2000, Simon earned his degree in Podiatry from Southampton University, receiving the Student of the Year award. He began his career at Portsmouth NHS Trust, completing an 18-month rotational training in all aspects of Podiatry. Following this, he specialized in biomechanics, working closely with the physiotherapy department and training colleagues in Podiatric biomechanics and gait abnormalities.

Simon collaborated with physiotherapists on hip, knee, and lower back issues, gaining experience in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. He then joined the orthopaedic team at Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth as an extended scope practitioner.

Simon later established a gait lab at Spire Hospital Southampton, allowing him to work closely with physiotherapists and orthopaedic colleagues. This collaboration led to combined clinics for treating musculoskeletal disorders.

With over 20 years of experience, Simon specializes in gait analysis, biomechanics, and orthotic management of foot pain. He develops collaborative treatment plans, performs foot mobilization, and uses shockwave therapy. In diabetic foot care, he employs in-shoe pressure analysis for mechanical management.
