Crafted using a Leno Weave upper, the Cielo X1 3.0 is breathable and abrasion-resistant in zoned sections where durability is needed most. The upper encourages cool air to circulate, while at the same time, removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. A warp-knit tongue to reduce irritation caused by rubbing, while the padded heel collar sits close to the ankle to increase step-in comfort. Also featuring a dynamic vamp, the Cielo X1 allows for the natural splay of the toes to improve stability and comfort. Completing the upper is an asymmetrical lacing system with notched laces, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.

Additionally, a newly-designed carbon fibre plate ensures a smoother transition, minimises energy loss, and increases propulsion.
