Air Mesh Upper
Constructed for breathable comfort, the Brooks Cascadia 20 features an Air Mesh upper. The perforations allow cool, refreshing air to circulate while removing unwanted warm air, helping to control temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. This design helps keep your feet cool, dry, and comfortable throughout your wear. In high-wear zones, overlays and toe caps offer added protection against varied terrain. Additionally, the traditional lacing system securely locks the midfoot, preventing excessive movement for a secure fit. Heel pull tabs have been incorporated to assist in putting the shoes on and off.
DNA FLASH v2 Midsole
Featuring Brooks' updated nitrogen-infused DNA FLASH v2 midsole, the Cascadia 20 has a new formulation that is lighter than before, whilst remaining durable. With improved responsiveness and an increased stack height, this update encourages quick turnover and fine-tuned layers of cushioning that effectively absorb impact to spare joints as you strike down on unforgiving surfaces. This updated, lighter, and springier cushioning helps you feel fresh, even late in the run.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
The Cascadia 20 features a Vibram Megagrip outsole, a high-performance, sticky rubber that offers exceptional grip and traction on both dry and wet surfaces. The outsole also incorporates flex grooves, which are strategically cut from the midsole to reduce overall weight and enhance traction by allowing your foot to move naturally and provide a larger surface area. Additionally, Traction Lug technology further increases grip and confidence, even on the trickiest of trails.
